Winboard is a free, accessible Chess program for the blind or those who can not use a mouse, such as quadriplegics, that works with the JAWS and NVDA screen readers and with full keyboard operation. The program interfaces automaticaly with the JAWS or NVDA screen readers. The program supplies blind users with feedback from the screen readers of any current board condition and many particular board conditions such as just pawns or knights or whose turn or time remaining.
